Ironwood Resource Advisors Adds Texas Stream Mitigation Bank in Southeast Texas

Announcing the New Proposed Call Junction Mitigation Bank

E303 is excited to partner with Ironwood Resource Advisors to announce the addition of the proposed Call Junction Mitigation Bank to its portfolio of clients represented in Texas. Located in Jasper County, the bank will generate an estimated 18,000 stream credits in the USACE Galveston District. The projected service area will include the entire Lower Sabine (HUC 12010005) and portions of the Toledo Bend Reservoir (HUC 12010004) watersheds within Texas. This site currently has Permittee-Responsible Mitigation capabilities for stream impacts in Texas’s southeast region (Orange, Newton, and Jasper Counties).

Wetlands are essential ecosystems that provide numerous beneficial functions for people and wildlife, including water quality protection, fish and wildlife habitats, erosion control, and floodwater storage. The purpose of mitigation banks is to provide a source for off-site compensatory mitigation of unavoidable adverse impacts to wetlands, streams, and other Waters of the United States authorized by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
